Nice light- very bright, perfect size and weight for hiking/etc. One issue is quality control for the battery retainer clips- batteries barely fit, making removal/replacement difficult.

Bought one at [...], found Meijer with a far better price. Got 3 for gifts and they were very well liked. You need to get one at least of 100 + lumens and this fills the bill. For the sportsman compact for a pocket. Excellent light for late tracking or finding way on trail in dark. Fits the glove box on your car or purse. The light never goes dim and 6 hours of complete on time - Wow! Runs on regular batteries not an exotic expensive rechargeable one.

I use four of these for night mountain biking and they work great. They are bright and last for 4 hours before dimming perceptibly (using rechargeable NiMh AAA batteries). The beam is nice, a good hotspot and smooth halo for peripheral vision. The only negative is the constuction of the battery compartment- they barely fit AAA batteries in two of my lights. I have to use a screwdriver to remove the batteries in these lights. Otherwise a great buy!
