You'd find a hole developing at the bottom of this cooler not long after a year or so of use. The outer plastic is thin. I just purchased this cooler directly from [...] on June 1, 2011. I have to say I was very disappointed when the cooler arrived. I was expecting something rugged and solid for something called a marine cooler. Talk about marketting [*]. The plastic is thin regarding the top cover and outer cabinet. I can easily press the plastic in with my thumb especially at the handles. The plastics also look like ordinary white plastic you'd see on a cooler. There's no noticeable coating whatsoever.... again marketing [*]. I'd never pay [$] if I saw this cooler in a store. I wouldn't pay more than $20 because there are thicker plastics and better ruggedness in many other off-brand coolers costing less. I'm keeping this one only because it's the perfect size for use as a milk box for milk deliveries at home. I don't often use coolers otherwise. If it weren't for the perfect size I'd send this thing right back to [...].
