      Comments about Coby CS-MP77 High-Performance Speaker System:

      I bought this unit for the price, trying to improve/separate/richen the sound of a TV upstairs without too much expense. I've got it hooked up to an Apple Airport Express and a splitter to the cable box audio out so I can listen to an iPod and boost the TV sound, too.

      The audio quality is mediocre at best. Yes, it is better then the built-in TV speakers, but the sound is very muddy. No high highs or low lows. Just a lot of loud mid range. No booming sub woofer, like I was hoping and the tweeters aren't crisp or bright.

      I would suggest trying to separate the sub woofer from the satellite speakers as much as possible. I'll probably purchase some extension wires for the RCA jacks just to get the speakers further apart from the sub for better sound.
