    I purchased this much, 12 jars, as I made the chicken alfredo for my daughter's graduation open house, and ordered the marinara from a restaurant. More guests ate "my" alfredo than the restaurant marinara! Classico is the only jarred alfredo sauce I buy. There is another out there, but doesn't have the wonderful taste as Classico.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      There is no better substitute for this product except making it from scratch. Use it with any type of noodle, add grilled chicken, garlic & fresh basil or any other Italian ingredient. I have even turned it into soup by adding heavy cream, chopped leeks, garlic, potatoes, green bell peppers and chicken tenders. You can heat it up and serve it as dip for bread sticks, and saute any white fish in it too! Add some white wine to it for an extra kick, serve it over rice. Outstanding.
