Product Details
Classic Wood Jishaku
This elegantly simple Jishaku game comes in a solid wooden box with a sliding lid and is a portable strategy game like chess or checkers that can be played anywhere, but unlike chess or checkers, there is an element of surprise when the magnets jump out of position without warning. Surprise then laughs follow as 2 or more players try to beat force fields with strategic thinking plus careful and precise handling of the game's magnetic stones. The unpredictability of Jishaku turns any get-together into a party!
  • Contents: 18 polished magnetic stones, 1 storage pouch, 1 foam game board inside of a wooden box, and instructions.
  • Measures 2-1/4" x 9-1/2" x 7-1/2"
  • For 2 or more players
  • For ages 8 years and up
  • Made in China

            Comments about Classic Wood Jishaku:

The wood box is made of cheap wood. The game is ok. My son received this as a gift. He loves magnets and will probably spend more time playing with the magnets than playing the game.

Purchased as a Christmas gift. Haven't played it yet. Love the beautiful wooden box it comes with. Very well crafted, anxious to give it a try when my son opens it!

              Comments about Classic Wood Jishaku:

I purchased the Jishaku game as a gift for my adult son. He immediately challenged us to play the game and as 'first time players' we had a bunch of laughs each time the magnets unexpectedly jumped and stuck to one another. The rules are relatively simple, but don't think it is easy to win this game... This takes strategy and a bit of luck. I am sure that my son will have fun playing the game with friends. Although a cheaper version of Jishaku is available in a plastic container, I chose to purchase the game with a wooden box. Since my son lives in a very small apartment, he doesn't have much storage and this packaging allows him to leave the game on the coffee table when not in use.[...]
