I bought these wings for my daughter's Halloween costume. She loved them because they had a unique shape and were her favorite colors (although the purple on ours is much darker than in the picture). Our only complaints are that it gets glitter EVERYWHERE and that the elastic arm straps are way too big (she's almost 7). I think that adjustable arm straps would have made this perfect, but she will still get lots of dress-up use out of them.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
