I have been looking for a desk like this for over a year and took a gamble on this. Having purchased a Sauder-like desk to "get me by" until I could find what I REALLY wanted, I was hesitant to purchase a desk I would have to assemble and wanted something of high quality. I caved and bought this desk because it was exactly what I wanted and assumed the quality would be sub-par. When I opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised !! I was also happy to find the most annoying job of putting the tiny pieces together already done. The desk took me about 25 minutes to put together and fits perfectly in my great room kitchen. It was missing four larger washers (but my hubby had extras).It is the perfect way to hide my laptop and keep my bills/paperwork organized. Also, the wood and finish and 10x better than a Sauder-type desk. I paid [$] after a 20% off coupon. I am still searching for a nice chair.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this desk...I gambled, figuring I woulnd't get much for the price- this desk was well packaged, easy to assemble and surprisingly quite sturdy. It fits great in the small space I have and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

We got this desk so my wife could have a place of her own to study and read for her masters program. It has been great, she loves it. Any office chair seems to work fine with it, and the height of the pull-out and the desk itself is perfect for leg space.
