  • Ingredients: Chicken Stock, Water, Spaetzle Dumplings (Enriched Wheat Flour [Wheat Flour, Ferrous Sulfate, Niacin, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid], Water, Whole Egg, Enriched Durum Flour [Durum Flour, Ferrous Sulfate, Niacin, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid], Parsley, Spice Extract, Salt, Turmeric for Color), Cooked Chicken Meat, Carrots, Celery, Vegetable Oil, Contains Less than 2% of the Following Ingredients: Green Beans, Peas, Modified Food Starch, Salt, Bleached Enriched Flour (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Ferrous Sulfate, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Soy Protein Concentrate, Monosodium Glutamate, Sugar, Onion Powder, Disodium Inosinate, Disodium Guanylate, Sodium Phosphates, Beta Carotene for Color, Spice, Chicken Flavor (Contains Chicken Stock, Chicken Powder, Chicken Fat), Flavoring, Butter (Milk), Cream Powder (Cream [Milk], Soy Lecithin), Tocopherols (to Protect Flavor), Ascorbic Acid for Flavor, Spice Extract.
  • Microwave: Microwave ovens vary. Time given is approximate. Uneven microwave heating may cause popping, movement of the bowl and/or splattering. 1. Pinch the top of the tabs on plastic cap and lift cap to remove; set aside. 2. Pull tab to remove metal lid and discard. Remaining metal rim is microwavable. 3. Replace plastic cap, pressing to snap in place and microwave covered on High 1 minute 30 seconds. (For convenience store (1700 watt) oven. microwave covered on High 1 minute.) 4. Careful, leave in microwave 1 min. 5. Lid may be hot. Grasp bowl on sides when removing bowl from microwave. 6. Stir thoroughly for even soup temperature. Note: After tasting, if you would like warmer soup, replace cap and heat an additional 15 seconds. Do not reuse or reheat bowl. Promptly refrigerate unused soup in separate container.

Soft plastic may not be safe to microwave in terms of chemicals that may potentially be released and my be potentially harmful. A harder plastic might be safer, but recycling of this packaging is always a concern. Rather salty and does not use organic/free range type ingredients to my knowledge. Could be more natural, environmentally sound, and use less cruelty to animals in my opinion.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
