We use this product daily, when my husband is not traveling. We've had it about 3 years. The stainless steel thermal pot has separated from the black handle, causing it to leak. My husband drinks a lot of coffee, and the thermal helps keep it hot longer. At first we couldn't figure out why it was leaking. It's been leaking about a year. It leaks when you pour it, no matter the speed. It has gotten worse over time. It's a mess. In checking the Bunn website, there is no replacement part listed, although they conveniently put the replacement number on the bottom of the pot. I called the 800 #, and they are sending a new pot to me UPS, with a request to return the defective pot to them via regular mail with a postage paid sticker that will be sent to me in the mail! I've been searching in stores everywhere for another thermal pot and had given up locating one, now evaluating new purchase options. The speed and quality of the coffee is great when made with a Bunn. I now feel like the expense is worth it, that I'll be able to use the product longer!

I have had this coffee brewer for about 8 years (after having other Bunn brewers) and I love it! It has just now started to leak, so I am buying a new one. The coffee stays hot for hours (only if you fill it with hot water before brewing your coffee). All my visitors comment on how hot the coffee is and how good it tastes!

Very good coffee and also keeps it HOT for 3 to 4 hours (when you preheat the pot).

My wife loves this coffee maker. She has a cup every morning. Her parents have one as well which is why she wanted this one. It's fast and there is no mess to clean up. She absolutely loves it and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

We've owned our Bunn several years. My response to "the coffee doesn't stay hot" is, "Did you preheat the pot with hot water from the tap?" That was in the user instructions. My coffee stays hot for three to four hours when I do this.

Big disappointment. Though Bunn is a good brand, this unit is not. It makes every type of coffee taste the same! I had fresh roasted beans from C. America that I ground and the Bunn made it taste like M-House coffee. In fact used grounds taste the same as fresh in this unit. Also, forget a clean pour with this unit (unless you drink from a mug that more than a foot in diameter.

As you can see above, we are not very happy with this unit--I outsmarted my self--I thought new model and costs more--it MUST be better as we have had the BX model for years and love it and have always had great service from Bunn--I would recommend Bunn coffee makers to others, but not this model--just hate it as it just does not keep coffee hot very long--

This machine brews quickly, but it will not keep your coffee hot very long. How drinks 10 cups of coffee in 20 minutes???? That's about as long as it keeps it warm. Will not replace this with another BUNN [...]
