I used this coffer maker one time, started to throw away the box and packing material and my wife noticed on the bottom right corner of the bottom of the box was "Made In China". This is after searching the internet for a coffee pot that turns itself on in the morning that is "Made in America" Everything pointed to Bunn as being the only producer of coffee makers that is an American company making products for Americans. Boy was I fooled. I returned it, yes, returned it. I was told by the Bunn representitive that it was made in America. I didn't feel I needed to spend $119 for a coffee maker made in China since I already had a "Mr. Coffee" for [$] made in China.I will only by American if I have a choice. My choices are getting fewer, huh?

Gave this to our son who knows his coffee. The whole idea of brewing at 200 degrees and using a spray head to get the most out of the coffee are all great ideas. Glad we gave it to him before Christmas. He took it back to school and after only about 5 uses it no longer worked. The best part was that when he called customer service they told him they would send a new machine immediately. And he could send the one that wouldn't work back so that the engineers could figure out what went wrong. IF IT WORKS THE WAY IT SHOULD, THEN IT WILL BE A GREAT COFFEE MAKER. THE JURY IS STILL OUT

Comments about BUNN HG Phase Brew 8-Cup Home Brewer Coffee Maker:

I have had this Bunn for 3 years now. Never had a problem with it and brews the best cup of coffee. I was a huge Cuisinart fan before, but they wouldn't last long. I tried many others and didn't like any of them till i got the Bunn. The coffee is hot like I like it and it brews the best tasting coffee. Only complaint I have is that it drips when pouring and I think its because its not one of the secure fit lids but all and all, no complaints.

Comments about BUNN HG Phase Brew 8-Cup Home Brewer Coffee Maker:

My previous bunn was a velocity brew and it was very fast but you had to perfectly center the pot where the coffee dripped out and it would overflow so water and coffee grounds would collect in the gap all the way around the warmer plate. The HG doesn't do that, and there is no gap around the warmer plate. The phase brew does take about 10minutes, but I don't mind.It isn't huge, bulky and ugly. It looks very different and I love that. I have never been so excited over a coffeemaker. The filter basket is stainless steel inside of it,the clock display is blue(nice change from red)the coffee taste great. It also has a 3 year warranty. No complaints at all. I LOVE IT!

I used this product for 6 months and it made good coffee; however, it needed to be cleaned and quit working. I followed the directions for cleaning it three times, but it just won't work. It doesn't matter if it makes good coffee if it just won't make coffee at all.
