- Ingredients: Sweet Potatoes, Sugar, Water, Salt and Spices.
- 10 Minute preparation time before cooking. 2 Eggs, 1 can (29 oz) Bruce's Sweet Potato Pie Filling, 2/3 cup evaporated milk, 1 unbaked 9 inch deep dish pie shell. (Shell may be frozen, refrigerated, or homemade). Preheat oven to 425°F. Prepare pie shell. Beat eggs lightly in large bowl. Stir in Bruce's Sweet Potato Pie Filling and evaporated milk. Blend well. Pour into pie shell. Bake for 18 minutes at 425°F. Reduce temperature to 350°F and bake for 50 to 60 minutes. Yields: Makes one 9 inch deep dish pie. For 2 shallow pies, substitute two 9 inch pie shells (2 cup volume). Bake in preheated 425°F oven for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350°F and bake for 40 minutes.
