    Under cabinet design is its best feature.
    Eliminates countertop clutter.
    Eliminates trying to secure or stablize a free standing can opener with one hand, hold can with other hand and use third hand- OPPS: I don't have a third hand!
    Easy to clean.
    Wish I could sharpen the blade- it's only 10+years old; or find a replacement blade

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
