This vacuum does a great job at cleaning my carpet. The waste bucket fills up with cat hair every time I use it. My old Dirt Devil bagless vacuum kept clogging up inside the hose so I replaced it with this one. So far it works great and I was able to get it on sale for under $100. Excellent budget vacuum cleaner !

I used this cleaner for my living room and bedrooms. The suction has never been the greatest and now after only have it for 4 months it does not clean much of anything. Suction has decreased to the point where it is almost nonexistent. I cleaned the filter and cleaned underneath - it will pick up nothing!

I use this vacuum on a daily basis with a husband, 2 kids and a dog in the house. When I was looking for a vacuum it was important to me that the detachable hose be long enough to reach the top of my carpeted stairs. My vacuum had broken so I borrowed my mothers and she just happened to have just purchased the Bissell Momentum. I knew as soon as I used it that I NEEDED this exact vacuum!! The hose reached all the way to the top and never once did I need to lift the vacuum and carry it with me as I had the last one. The suction on this vacuum is also really great. It feels as though the vacuum propels itself along the floor. It is also REALLY great picking up pet hair!!. The only, very minor, thing I noticed was it tends to be a bit noisey, but as great of a job as the Bissell Momentum does, I will take it with a smile on my face and cean carpeting under my feet!!

It has great suction and made us somewhat disturbed by the amount of dirt that wasn't coming out with our old cleaner. The only drawbacks are that it is fairly noisy and that it is difficult to maneuver on the stairs while trying to use one of the specialty tools. The performance also seems to be a bit better on carpet versus hard floors (hardwood, tile, etc.) Overall we are very pleased with the performance so far.

I've spent the last two years using a Eureka Altima and have hated it since I first used it brand new. It was big a bulky and weighed a ton and didn't suck anything up. Keeping the filter changed and clean didn't help. I had to go behind it using the tools to pick up the rest. I just bought the Bissell Momentum today, after much debate over what kind of vacuum to buy. I vacuumed with my old one this morning then vacuumed with the new one this afternoon and was amazed at the difference. My area rug looked new again and I had a cup full of dirt and fuzz off the rugby the time it was done even though I had already vacuumed. This is a great vacuum, and so far the only con to it I've seen is that it is rather noisy but as long as it gets the dirt up I'm fine with noise. Also it literally pulls itself, you just have to steer. This is a great buy for the money and I'd reccomend it to anyone.

i use this vacuum every day i have 2 cats and when i first got it i used it on my floor the same floor ive been useing my other vacuum on for 6 or 7 months and it was pulling sand from under the carpet thats how powerful it is still works just as good 8 months strong . it is a must get
