My 30 lb terrier/mix kept jumping over the other security gates we've used. He can't do it with this one, too tall. We love it. We bought two. Easy for the cat to jump up onto and over when she wants to move around the house.

This is best purchase I've made since the doggie door for my 5 very active, high jumping, Westhighland white terriers! Works perfectly. I use it in a 36" bedroom doorway with a 7" extension. Excellent quality. Looks great. Love the pass through door! I plan to get a few more of them. Super pet door, you won't be dissappointed. Lifting the spring loaded gate on the 40" ht could possibly be a little challenging for someone less than 5'6". My daughter just uses two hands, one on the handle and one on the verticle bar.

Trying to isolate an active Husky pup and an older dog with incontinence problems, these gates are a great investment. Walk-through convenience, tall enough to nix jumping; strong enough and secure enough to stop "bulldozing"; regular babygates don't stand up to this abuse.
