  • Ingredients: Sugar, Frosting (Sugar, Partially Hydrogenated Soybean and Cottonseed Oil, Water, High Maltose Corn Syrup, Corn Starch, Cocoa Processed with Alkali, Salt, Distilled Monoglycerides, Potassium Sorbate [Preservative], Polysorbate 60, Natural and Artificial Flavor, Citric Acid, Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate, Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Color Added, Nonfat Milk, Yeast), Enriched Flour Bleached (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Cocoa Processed with Alkali, Corn Syrup, Partially Hydrogenated Soybean and/or Cottonseed Oil.   • You Will Need: 1/4 cup water; 1/4 cup vegetable oil; 1 egg. 1. Heat oven to 350°F for shiny metal pan or 325°F for dark nonstick or glass pan. Grease (or use cooking spray) bottom of pan. 2. Stir Brownie Mix, water, oil, and egg in medium bowl until well blended. Spread in pan. 3. Bake as directed below or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Cool completely before frosting. Squeeze frosting packet 10 seconds. Cut off 1 end of packet with scissors. Squeeze frosting over brownies; spread evenly. Store tightly covered. 8 x 8 inch pan size: 38-41 minutes bake time. 9 x 9 inch pan size: 34-37 minutes bake time. 11 x 7 inches pan size: 32-35 minutes bake time. Betty's Tips: For thinner brownies: bake in 13 x 9-inch pan 21-23 minutes. For cake-like brownies: use 1/4 cup water 1/4 cup vegetable oil and 2 eggs. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Stir 1 tbsp all-purpose flour into dry brownie mix. Make brownies using 1/3 cup water, 3 tbsp oil, and 1 egg for regular brownies 2 eggs for cakelike brownies. Bake 8 x 8 inch 45-49 min 9 x 9 inch 38-41 11 x 7 inch 35-38 min 13 x 9 inch 25-28 min.
