- Ingredients: Sugar, Enriched Flour Bleached (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Brown Sugar, Partially Hydrogenated Soybean and/or Cottonseed Oil, Corn Syrup, Leavening (Baking Soda, Sodium Aluminum Phosphate, Monocalcium Phosphate), Cinnamon, Modified Corn Starch. Contains 1% or Less of: Corn Starch, Dextrose, Salt, Propylene Glycol, Mono and Diesters of Fatty Acids, Distilled Monoglycerides, Dicalcium Phosphate, Xanthan Gum.
- Cake: You will need: 1 cup water, 1/3 cup butter softened, 3 eggs. Do not eat raw cake batter. 1. Heat oven to 350°F for shiny metal or glass pan or 325°F for dark or nonstick pan. Grease and flour bottom and sides of 8- or 9-inch rounds or bottom only of 13 x 9-inch pan. 2. Beat cake mix, water, softened butter, and eggs in large bowl on low speed 30 seconds then on medium speed 2 minutes scraping bowl occasionally (batter will be thick). 3. Sprinkle cinnamon swirl mix evenly over batter in bowl. Gently stir into batter 6 times (do not mix in completely). Pour into pan; spread evenly. 4. Bake as directed or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan. Cool completely before frosting. Pan size bake time (in minutes) (if using dark or nonstick pan lengthen bake time 3 minutes): two 8 inch rounds 35-40; two 9 inch rounds 27-32; 13 x 9 inch 35-40. High altitude (3500-6500): Eight-inch rounds not recommended. Stir 1/4 cup all-purpose flour into dry cake mix. Make cake using 1-1/4 cups water 1/3 cup butter and 3 eggs. Bake 9 inch rounds 29-34 min 13 x 9 inch 31-36 min.
