My son saved his Christmas and birthday money to buy this popcorn machine. He was so excited when he finally brought it home. I assembled it and made the first batch. It worked just fine. Only design flaw I noticed was the bits of popcorn and seeds get stuck in serving drawer making it difficult to close without cleaning it. That same night we had a sleepover. My son could not wait to show his friend how his popcorn machine worked. I made the second batch of the day and as I emptied the popcorn out of the popper, the hot kettle's rivet snapped and the entire metal basket fell on my hand. I am so glad I refused to let my son operate the machine.

It is very cute and made great popcorn, however it lasted only two very gentle uses. I would not recommend

I bought this kettle popcorn popper for my partner because I was concerned with him eating unhealthy microwave popcorn. I had the expectation that he would add oil and popcorn and have a nice bowl of popcorn in a few minutes. However, this machine was a big disappointment. First, the machine takes about 4 minutes to heat up. Then unpopped kernals get thrown out of the kettle when it begins popping. Other times, the popcorn was jammed in the kettle forcing us to dump the jammed popcorn and a pile of unpopped kernals. It also makes a tiny little batch, so you need to keep popping--wasting about 20 minutes. The kernals get stuck in the front bottom door, making it impossible to close again until the kernals are cleaned up. I had to use a vacuum to clean it out and then a microfiber cloth to clean the inside. Overall, this machine is very poorly designed and I would not recommend it. The company should have tested this product more before releasing it.

Took a few attempts for the kettle to get hot. Then it only popped about 1/2 of the kernels. Even so, it only makes about one serving at a time. Very difficult to clean.

makes 1/2 a serving, its too small. No holes on the bottom to get rid of seeds. The seeds then clog the door making it impossible to shut without cleaning the unit.
