    I can see that if a cat with claws used it, it could easily shread. But it works for my 4 cats, who are all declawed.

        I bought this thinking I was getting a good deal on something I very much needed with the three cats in my house and was very disappointed. It's just particle board covered with cheap carpeting that only shreds when my cats use it. Nothing about it helps my cats deal with their urges to scratch, they still use my trim and furniture.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
