    I use these jars every year to make homemade holiday soup jars with an attached recipe to give to friends/teachers/managers. It's easy to make and looks festive layered in the jar and we top it with holiday fabrics that get secured under the lid twist. Everyone loves the sentiment and it's an easy to make meal when one has little time or energy to cook. It is coupled with a recipe that uses Meijer oyster crackers and a special seasoning/herb mix that is slowly baked on the cracker. Delicious! I also use Meijer mini aluminum bread tins to add our homemade poppysead bread as well. People ask me for it every year. The tradition will continue.

    I use these to put my money underground, but I don't store paper money it gets soggy. I bury them in the back yard for safe keepin sos the kinfolk will find it later.

        I have been using Ball jars and lids since I was old enough to stand on a stool to wash them for my mother. She canned thousands of jars of food for our family of twelve children. I have continued this tradition with my own family. I use them for many craft projects as well.
