      I purchased at a different online retailer-didn't know Meijer carries it-online only. I recently adopted a senior, retired puppy mill breeding dog. This poor dog has survived a rough life! I added Gentle Digest as a supplemental treatment to her vet visits, etc. It appears that the Gentle Digest has helped resolve her very flaky skin. Also, she used to have very foul-smelling diarrhea, and now her stools are firm and regular in smell. I would recommend this product for dogs that have been under stress, like she has, or have taken antibiotics, as it helps balance the healthy bacteria needed to digest food properly. Now that I know Meijer sells it, I will buy it here.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
