Some games run with glitches - not a very drama, I think, there are some fixed ROMs. Also, I've found a useful program, called ScreenGopher - http://screengopher.freehosting.com/eng/index.html - it can set-up images to youur own games on SD-card, like it is so for built-in games.

I really enjoyed the gameing system it keep my little sister quiet. from christmas all the way until the day before New Years.I love how u can put it on Tv and watch it and play it the only bad thing about it is five days after i bought it the screen went black and it Do not tell you how to download more games to it. other than that i would recommend this game to anyone.

Having grown up in the 90's, i know most of these games by heart, and its great to be able to share that fun with my kids at a fraction of what trendy handhelds of today cost.
The included games are good, but the great thing about the Gopher is that it makes almost the entire Sega Genesis game library available, most of the games can be downloaded from the web, all you need is a small SD card, I use a 512. can fit tons of games from the web. This system is a great alternative to recent portables that are just so expensive and easy to break. Got one of these for my 5 year old that wanted a Nintendo DS, as soon as he discovered Ecco the dolphin, all the talk of Nintendo this and DS that stopped, his sister plays it more than her Ds. You can buy 4 of these for the price of a DS or a PSP. The majority of Sega Genesis games where fun side scrollers, perfect for kids, and even being games from the 90's, they have aged very well, specially classics like sonic spinball and ecco the dolphin. The rubberized coating can really absorb the bumps, and the screen is sharp and bright, I actually think it looks better than a PSP. Its not perfect, the manual leaves a lot to be desired, written in poor Chinese to English translation, and the downloaded game instructions are not that clear, you will need an external SD reader to add games, and the games need to be in .BIN format, .SMD games will not work, but you can download free SMD to BIN conversion utilities. the folder that holds the game in the SD card needs to be named "Game", not "GAMES" as the manual implies, there is plenty of info on the web on how to install the extra games. The video and play emulation is perfect, but the sound is not emulated quite well, its not stereo and seems to be in a lower octave than the original games, no prob for games that are multiple times older than the kids that are playing them. The sound can be very loud, so make sure you keep an ear for kids turning the audio way up, or set the volume wheel to a reasonable setting and put a drop of instant adhesive to keep it in one spot. It will also not save games, but since most Genesis games had no save feature anyway, its not a big issue. My son is using his non stop, so its a good idea to buy a usb charger, and probably one or two more gophers, at the low price, its the best way to keep little hands busy. And as an added bonus, it can be connected to any tv with AV inputs for playing on big screen , now that's value

This was a christmas gift for my 4 yr old son. He absolutely loves this and it keeps him occupied and out of my hair. I even played a couple games myself and got addicted. I would definitely buy this again.
