              If a twelve year old can actually make the articles pictured on the box I will eat a pound of clay. It worked for ten minutes but that was enough for me.... This will go back. The previous post was correct. No anchor...big mess ...significant disappointment.

                  The clay has nothing to which it attaches; as a result, when placing the clay on the flimsy, plastic "wheel," the clay goes everywhere. When trying to use the plastic tools to shape the clay, again the clay has no stability. As a result, it has no anchor on the "wheel" and cannot be molded or shaped. It is basically a lump of clay that is in free fall on a poorly constructed, shoddy plastic surface. This ALEX Deluxe Pottery Wheel is a pitiful toy; it is a GREAT disappointment to a little girl who wanted it from Santa. I do NOT recommend it to anyone. It is junk and is going to the junkpile.
