    This is our second one, after the first one lasted us 15 years! We had to look all over to find a replacement. Love it in our sun room, to use for "hand-wash" or "line dry only" items. Plenty of space and it's retractable, too!

    This retractable clothesline was the perfect size for our aparment balcony. Unfortunately, the plastic is very fragile, the clothesline is not durable and after only 1.5 months, the lines are broken and the hanger is cracked. It just couldn't handle the use.

    On that note, it would be perfect for an RV or a light duty application such as a photgraphic darkroom (something that won't put the weight of damp clothes on the lines and plastic...)

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
