All in all great bike for the price. It requires some fine tuning / tweeking to get the bike work properly. But once that is done, it is great bike. I made several 25 mile trips with this bike, and it performed fine.

Love the bike, went together within 10 minutes. Had to change out the seat for a comfort one, as I ride primarily on bike trails and city streets. I put about 10 miles a day on the bike and have no complaints. This is not a $600 downhill mountain bike, but for most of us, this is more than enough! People always give me compliments when they see it, and my neighbor is now going to get one himself.

I used to ride the higher end more expensive mountain bikes going through college and in my youth. Trek mountain bikes were my choice and I would pay upwards of a $1000 for them. But I don't bike as much anymore and wanted something inexpensive to ride casually. So I gave this mongoose a try. Now I know why it costs under $150. Yes, it's relatively cheap but there is a reason why. The rims weren't straight. I had to take the bike in to a bike shop to fix the problem. The overall construction is a little flimsy. But then again, what do you expect for what it cost? Overall though it's an okay bike.

We bought this bike for our 15 year old son. Extremely pleased with the look and quality of the bike for this price. Price was extremely reasonable. Would recommend it to anyone considering it. And, by the way, our 15 year old thinks it's "real cool" and "rides good". So, there you go. We very much would purchase again. Thanks.
