    We bought this product for our 9 year old daughter for Christmas. The bike arrived very fast! and it looks was really nice. My husband stated that the componenets are very sturdy. Although the final proof is how well it rides on Christmas Day, I would say this was a great buy and appears to be a well- made product. This was my first time purchasing from Meijer and I will definitely consider another online purchase with you!

Gear shifts (twist type) are stiff and quite hard to twist for child hands.On the other hand, the frame paint job looks pretty well and price is relatively low. You get what you pay for.

    I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. Out of the box, it was not too difficult to put together, however there were some adjustments needed. The gears weren't quite right, and the spokes needed adjusting as well. This is a nice entry level Mtn bike, but I would definitely add a quick release for the front wheel, as well as a quick adjusting seat lock.The axles and cranks were supposed to have been greased prior to shipping, however the crank didn't turn as easily as I had hoped. May just be low quality bearings... Or need more grease. May not even be noticable to some people.I can't knock the bike too bad... It's a good looking bike & my daughter loves it.
