I use Borax around the house in many ways--laundry, cleaning the kitchen, bath, and walls. Because I have hard water, it helps my laundry detergent do a more effective job. I love how clean they look. For cleaning walls that have become grimy from heating with wood in the winter, it can't be beaten. Just add to water with a small amount of liquid detergent and it makes a great cleaner. Safe to use and doesn't scratch the surfaces in the bathroom or kitchen. It is eco-friendly and safe.

I like to use this because it is safe to have around my kids. We have hard well water and Borax will take the yellowing off of our tubs, sinks and toilets. I also use a bit in my wash along with my detergent. Great cleaner, with little harmful effect on the environment.

I bought 20 mule team borax to kill lawn ivy without killing grass or harming the environment. It replaces Round Up which kills everything. With two applications the ivy is beginning to brown and hopefully will die a peaceful and clean death

I use it mainly to wash clothes, I noticed that my daughter's skin improved after I started using it as the sole detergent for her clothes. I fell off the wagon and I am using other stuff, too, now, but I always put some in the washer. I scrub my bath tub with it, I use it sometimes as a deep cleaning shampoo (to remove residue build-up from regular shampoo). I have read that it is all natural, used for ages and very ecological friendly. The main quality:it is not petrochemical, so it is not toxic for living beings, something you can figure out if you use it exclusively for clothes washing (like I did). It is so inexpensive...it's ridiculous...more people should know about it and use it.
