This is a good, simple and relatively inexpensive device for use in the US and Europe. I have used it extensively in the UK and US...no real issues.

This Garmin is very small and travels easily AND you can use it in other countries. It enhanced our travels in the countryside of Provence, France, tremendously--taking all of the stress out of travel in a foreign country and where there were no road signs in many cases. We also take it in our suitcase for vacation and business travel in the United States as well as use it on a daily basis to find locations for business meetings, kids' sporting events, restaurants, etc. I am bad with directions and I am not very technically adept--so this Garmin was a very pleasant surprise.

I use it to go to new places.It is easy to hook up into the lighter and easy to take out of the car so no one can steal it. It is inaccurate when they change a road design,so just use some common sense.
