What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a way to obtain information from websites without having to surf from page to page. When you subscribe to a feed in an RSS reader, you receive an automatic notification whenever new content is posted.

RSS capabilities are built into several web browsers, including Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari. There are external RSS readers available to be used with older browsers or mobile phones. Find more information about these readers at these sites: Google Reader, Bloglines, or Newsgator.

Click on one of the above icons and the RSS feed will load within your web browser. Depending on your browser, you may be able to subscribe to the RSS feed directly, or you may have to copy and paste the feed url into an external reader.
