How do I make changes to my Meijer.com account?
You may make modifications to your Meijer.com account online by logging in to your account. Login to your account now.

Why do I have to sign in to my account to use my promo code for online purchases?
We know signing in can be a bit of hassle, but it really helps us get to know our customers better. Plus, in the long run, it means we can work to tailor your experience, giving you offers that work best for you. In the meantime, please enjoy all the benefits a Meijer.com account offers, like auto-fill for your shipping address, order history, and more.

I'm having issues with the Name or Address fields of my account or billing form. Why does the form keep rejecting my entry?
Please avoid using special characters of any kind in the Name or Address fields. This includes characters like slashes (/) and colons (:). Use the Address 2 field to continue long addresses or add apartment or suite numbers.

How do I unsubscribe from Meijer.com emails?
Subscribe or unsubscribe from any Meijer.com communication (including My Meijer News, Meijer Community Rewards, ePanel, Meijer credit cards and UPromise) by logging in to your account. Then select or deselect desired changes and save the page. Login to your account now.

Meijer emails are getting blocked from my email account. How can I prevent this from happening?
Here are instructions for setting Meijer email communications as "safe senders" in popular email programs. This will let your email provider know not to block Meijer emails.

Hotmail:

1. Log in to your Hotmail account.
2. Click "Options."
3. Under the "Junk E-mail" header, click the "Safe and Blocked Senders" text.
4. Then click the "Safe Senders" text.
5. Type "meijer.com" in the "Sender or domain to mark as safe" text entry box.
6. Click the "Add to list >>" button.

Yahoo!:

1. Click the "Add" text next to "Contacts" text.
2. Click "Options."
3. Enter "Meijer" in the name field.
4. Enter shopformore@meijer.com" in the e-mail address field.
5. Click the "Save" button.
6. Click the "OK" button.

Gmail:

1. Log in to your Gmail account.
2. Click "Contacts" along the left side of any page.
3. Click the "New Contact" button in the top left corner of the Contact Manager.
4. Enter "Meijer" in the name field.
5. Enter "shopformore@meijer.com" in the email address field text entry box.
6. Click "Save."

Microsoft Outlook:

1. Open Microsoft Outlook.
2. Open the "Actions" dropdown menu.
3. Mouseover "Junk E-mail."
4. Click on "Junk E-mail Options."
5. Click on the "Safe Recipients" tab.
6. Click the "Add" button.
7. Enter "shopformore@meijer.com" in the email address field text entry box.
8. Click the "OK" button.

What are Meijer store hours?
Meijer stores are open 24 hours a day, 364 days a year. Of course, Meijer.com is always open.

How do I find locations of other Meijer stores?
Find addresses, phone numbers and Pharmacy hours for any Meijer store with our Store Locator. Note that you may fill prescriptions online using our ePharmacy.

Do you provide Postal Services at your stores?
Yes, Meijer stores offer postage stamps and mail drops for your convenience.

Does Meijer provide motorized carts for shoppers with special needs?
Yes, we provide motorized carts (Amigos) or wheelchairs for your convenience.

Where can I find weekly online store ads at Meijer.com?
Go to Weekly Ads to find promotions planned in your store.

Grocery

Is the shipping time the same for Grocery items?
No. Grocery items are shipped using a different process and can only be shipped using Ground service. Please allow 6-10 business days for all grocery packages to arrive. Sorry, we cannot expedite Grocery orders.

My selection contains a food item, but I found it in a different section of Meijer.com. Do the Grocery shipping rules apply?
No. If you found your product outside the Grocery section of the Meijer.com site navigation, it will not follow the Grocery rules.

What if my order contains both Grocery and items from another section of Meijer.com?
Your order will be processed separately. For products outside the Grocery section, you may choose expedited shipping; but it will not apply to your Grocery items.

Can I return Grocery items to a store like I can for other Meijer.com products?
Yes, you may return full cases of product to Meijer stores. The shipping case/box may be open; however, the packages inside the shipping box must be sealed for the return to be accepted. Partial cases will not be accepted.

Can I ship a box of Grocery items as a care package to another address?
Yes. Create or sign in to your Meijer.com profile to add alternate addresses to your address book. Then select the correct shipping address for each product.

Theme Park Tickets

Can I buy Cedar Point, King's Island, or other entertainment tickets at Meijer stores?
Yes, Meijer stores offer theme park tickets seasonally. See our Community Events page for store locations. Note that not all Meijer stores sell theme park, entertainment and water park tickets.

Are there any Meijer stores that sell Kentucky Speedway tickets?

Product Availability and Pricing

What are the conditions for your special pricing or offers?
Special pricing or offers are good only while supplies last. Our offers do not apply to in store purchases or orders made on partner business sites and there is a limit of one promo code per order.  Please see our Terms and Conditions for complete details.

Are all items that are available at Meijer stores also available at Meijer.com?
As product assortments vary from store to store and region to region, you'll find that some of our products offered at Meijer.com won't be available in your store. For other items you may find that we offer an even greater selection at Meijer.com.

Are items that are available at Meijer instore and online priced the same?
We select products sold at Meijer.com independently from our store products. We often feature exclusive online-only pricing. Likewise, our stores often feature prices that may not match Meijer.com. If a product is sold online and instore, pricing may be different based on local pricing considerations. Therefore, we will not match pricing between Meijer.com and Meijer stores. Meijer.com also does not match ad prices from any other retailer, whether online or a retail store.

What if I notice an item I purchased previously is now on sale? Can I get credited for the sale price?
Pricing on Meijer.com is available only at the time the order is placed. No pricing adjustments will be made on previous orders based on future or past promotions or sale prices.

Does Meijer guarantee availability of all products shown on Meijer.com?
Meijer reserves the right to limit quantities (including after you have submitted your order). Special pricing or offers are good only while supplies last. Please see our Terms and Conditions for complete details.

Can I cancel an online order?
You may cancel an online order only if it hasn't been sent for processing. If you've received your order confirmation, the purchase has been sent for processing and you'll have an opportunity to request a return authorization for it once you've received it.

Do you offer gift wrapping for online purchases?
At this time we don't offer gift wrapping services for online purchases.

Can I put a gift message on my packing slip for my online purchase?
Yes, you will be given the option to add a gift message to your online order during checkout.

I work at Meijer. Can I apply my Meijer Team Member discount to my online purchase?
Yes, you can enter your Appreciation Card number when you create a Meijer account. Create an account. Login to your account now.

What if I can't find an item I'm searching for?
Try fewer words in your search. Check your spelling. Use the "View Results By" link at the top right of the search results page.

How do preorders work?
Meijer.com preorders give you the opportunity to preorder a new release product in advance of the release date. We will ship orders on the day of the release date, in the priority that they were received (first to order - first to ship). In the event of inventory shortage, your order will remain in a backorder status until we receive more inventory. Normal backorder notification procedures will be followed. Meijer.com can not guarantee availability.

e-Gift Cards

Can I use my e-Gift Card to make a purchase at a physical Meijer store?
No. E-Gift Cards are only for online purchases at Meijer.com. If you would like a gift card for making a purchase at your local Meijer store, please select a traditional, plastic gift card.

What denominations do e-Gift Cards come in?
You may purchase an online e-Gift Card for any denomination between $5 and $990 at Meijer.com. Click here to purchase or learn more.

How will my recipient receive their e-Gift Card?
Recipients will receive an email containing their e-Gift Card number. After they click to active their e-Gift Card they′ll receive a second email with their PIN. Once they have both of these, they′ll be ready to purchase.

I purchased an e-Gift Card and my recipient didn′t receive their confirmation email. What do they do?
Please have your recipient check their SPAM folder. Also see the Account & Email Subscriptions FAQ for information on adding Meijer to a safe sender list for the future.

I received an e-Gift Card. How do I use it?
Inside the email announcing your e-Gift Card there is a link to activate your card. Click this link and you′ll be taken to an activation page. Once activated, we′ll send a second email with your PIN. Within two hours, you are ready to shop. During checkout, simply enter your e-Gift Card number and PIN under Payment Information on the Billing/Payment screen.

I lost the email containing my e-Gift Card number. What can I do?
Please call us toll-free at 1-877-E-MEIJER (1-877-363-4537) and we′ll look into that for you.

I clicked to activate my e-Gift Card but never received my PIN. What do I do?
We′re sorry about that. Please call us toll-free at 1-877-E-MEIJER (1-877-363-4537) and we′ll look into that for you.

I lost my e-Gift Card PIN. What can I do?
Open your original email announcing that you received an e-Gift Card. Click the link to activate it and we′ll send your PIN again.

Will I be required to pay sales tax for e-Gift Cards I′ve purchased online?
E-Gift Cards purchased online are not subject to sales tax. However, online purchases paid for with gift cards may be subject to sales tax.

Traditional, Plastic Gift Cards

My gift card was lost or stolen. What can I do?
A lost or stolen traditional, plastic Meijer gift card can′t be replaced without the original proof of purchase. Gift card replacements will be with another traditional, plastic Meijer gift card having the credit balance only as shown by our records.

Can I purchase gift cards online?
Yes, you may purchase traditional, plastic gift cards online in specific denominations of $5, $10, $15, $20, $25, $50, and $100.

Can I use my traditional gift card to pay for my online purchase?
Yes, you may apply a traditional plastic gift card toward your online purchase. At this time, you may apply one (1) gift card per order for online purchases, and you can pay for your order with a combination of gift card and credit card.

Will I be required to pay sales tax for traditional, plastic gift cards I′ve purchased online?
Traditional, plastic gift cards purchased online are not subject to sales tax. However, online purchases paid for with gift cards may be subject to sales tax.

Payment Options

What credit cards do you accept for online purchases?
We accept Meijer Mastercard, Mastercard, Visa, Discover Network and American Express for online purchases.

Can I use a debit card for online purchases?
Debit cards that do not require entry of a PIN may be used online.

Can I use PayPal for online purchases?
I'm sorry, but PayPal is one of the few ways we don't accept payment for online orders. We do accept Meijer Mastercard, Mastercard, Visa, Discover Network and American Express for online purchases.

Can I use my Senior discount for online purchases?
Senior Discounts Days are only available in stores.

Can I apply Meijer MasterCard "Meijer Bucks" toward online purchases?
At this time, Meijer MasterCard "Meijer Bucks" can only be used in stores.

Can I earn Meijer Community Rewards with online purchases?
Yes, if you are a Meijer Community Rewards member and if you make online purchases with your linked Meijer Credit Card. Find out more about Meijer Community Rewards.

Photo Center

Where can I learn more about photo services at Meijer?
Since November 2007, Meijer has partnered with HP Snapfish to bring you the best in photo services: express HP photo prints, photo and flip books, collage posters, calendars, mugs, personalized gifts. Find out more at the Meijer Photo Center.

Can I tranfer my pictures from my LifePics account to a new Snapfish account?
You will have until Feb 29, 2008 to transfer your LifePics photos to Snapfish. If you miss this date, you can create a new Snapfish account at any time. See Meijer Photo Center for details.

Sales Tax

Will I be required to pay sales tax for online orders?
Your online purchase may include sales tax depending on the type of item purchased and the destination of the shipment. In accordance with the applicable state laws, MeijerEcom, Inc. collects tax for orders where sales taxes are applicable. Shipping charges may also be subject to sales tax in certain states. Likewise, sales tax will be refunded for any returned items.

How is sales tax calculated?
The tax rate applied to your order will be the combined state and local rate for the address where your order ships. State and local sales tax rates are subject to change at any time.

Can I receive a sales tax exemption for my online purchase?
We're sorry, we don't currently have tax exempt status for online purchases.

Games offered online on Meijer.com include available ESRB ratings listed in Features. An abbreviated description of each rating is listed below. For more detailed information about ESRB ratings see www.esrb.org.

EARLY CHILDHOOD
Titles rated EC have content that may be suitable for ages 3 and older. Contains no material that parents would find inappropriate.

EVERYONE
Titles rated E have content that may be suitable for ages 6 and older. Titles in this category may contain minimal cartoon, fantasy or mild violence and/or infrequent use of mild language.

EVERYONE 10+
Titles rated E10+ have content that may be suitable for ages 10 and older. Titles in this category may contain more cartoon, fantasy or mild violence, mild language and/or minimal suggestive themes.

TEEN
Titles rated T have content that may be suitable for ages 13 and older. Titles in this category may contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling, and/or infrequent use of strong language.

MATURE
Titles rated M have content that may be suitable for persons ages 17 and older. Titles in this category may contain intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content and/or strong language.

MPAA RATINGS

Movies offered online on Meijer.com include available MPAA ratings listed in Features. An abbreviated description of each rating is listed below. For more detailed information about MPAA ratings see www.mpaa.org.

G
A G-rated motion picture contains nothing in theme, language, nudity, sex, violence or other matters that is deemed (in the view of the Rating Board) offensive to parents whose younger children might view the motion picture. Depictions of violence are minimal. No nudity, sex scenes or drug use are present.

PG
A PG-rated motion picture should be investigated by parents before they let their younger children view. The PG rating indicates (in the view of the Rating Board) that parents may consider some material unsuitable for their children, and parents should make that decision.

PG-13
A PG-13 rating is a sterner warning by the Rating Board to parents to determine whether their children under age 13 should view the motion picture, as some material might not be suited for them. A PG-13 motion picture may go beyond the PG rating in theme, violence, nudity, sensuality, language, adult activities or other elements, but does not reach the restricted R category.

R
An R-rated motion picture (in the view of the Rating Board) contains some adult material. An R-rated motion picture may include adult themes, adult activity, hard language, intense or persistent violence, sexually-oriented nudity, drug abuse or other elements, so that parents are counseled to take this rating very seriously. Children under 17 are not allowed to attend R-rated motion pictures unaccompanied by a parent or adult guardian.

NC-17
An NC-17 rated motion picture is one that (in the view of the Rating Board) most parents would consider patently too adult for their children 17 and under. This rating signals that the content is appropriate only for an adult audience.

Meijer's Fingerprint Retention & Destruction Policy - Illinois

Pursuant to the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act, Meijer's retention and destruction policy for fingerprints and other biometric information is as follows:

• Meijer obtains, uses and stores fingerprints from customers for identification and collection purposes as a condition of establishing on-going check-cashing privileges for third-party checks. The fingerprints are retained for as long as the customer uses the privileges, and the company needs the fingerprints for collection purposes. The fingerprints are permanently destroyed no later than three years after the company receives payment in full of the last check cashed, or the company (or its agents or assignees) completes collection procedures on a check returned for insufficient funds or a fraudulent check, unless a longer retention period is required by subpoena, warrant, court order or other legal requirement.

• Meijer also obtains, uses and stores fingerprints from employees for the purpose of identification and providing access to secured areas or functions. The fingerprints are retained for the duration of the employee's employment, and are permanently destroyed no later than 30 days after the termination of the employee's employment, unless a longer retention period is required by subpoena, warrant, court order or other legal requirement.
